Mumbai: The wait is over as the new season of the famous television reality show Bigg Boss 11 finally began with a grand premier night ‘First Day First Show’ hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The new season have come up with a new theme in which there will be certain contestants who will be the ‘padosis’ while the other lot of contestants will be ‘gharwaale’.
The contestants who have been locked up in the Bigg Boss house include many television celebrities as well as commoners so it will be fun to see how do they manage to cop up with each other and make this season interesting like all the other seasons.
Here are the details of the Bigg Boss 11 contestants:-
Luv Tyagi: Hailing from Rajasthan, Luv is a commoner contestant who loves the game of chess. He thinks even life is a game of chess. Well, he is from the padosi group and we are waiting to see his strategy on the show.
Mehjabi Siddiqui: Mehjabi Siddiqui calls herself the voice of all the daughters-in-law of the country. She says, “Raita failaungi main ghar mein, saaf woh log karenge.” All right, lady! We are all eyes.
Sabyasachi Satpathy: Sabyasachi is the brother of former Ranji cricketer Jitu Satpathy and hails from state of Odisha. He thinks he is a big gamer and would love to make strategic games in the house.
Lucinda Nicholas: She is a yoga teacher wwho hails from Australia and another commoner on the show.
Vikas Gupta: Gupta is a TV producer. He was the producer of super hit TV show Gumrah and also worked as programmer of the channel that aired Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain.
Shilpa Shinde: The TV actress, who first won hearts as ‘Bhabiji’ in Bhabhi Ghar Par Hain and later faced criticism for taking a stand against the harassment she faced at the hand of production house, is participating in the show. Her equation with Vikas Gupta will be interesting to see as two enemies can never stay together.
Hiten Tejwani: Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame Hiten Tejwani will be locked inside the house. He had been missing from TV screens for a long time and his fans would be quite delighted to see him on the reality show.
Hina Khan: Another favourite ‘Bahu’ of the famous television serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ Hina Khan will be seen as contestant this year. She is rumoured to be highest paid of the lot.
Akash Anil Dadlani: Another participant this season is Aaksh Anil Dadlani, who claims that Mother Mary visited him in his dreams and imparted the gift of music. Well, he just reminded us of Swami Om who also had a gift of exaggeration! Hope he does not meet the same rage from the host of the show Salman Khan and fate as we all know about Om’s unceremonious exit from the show.
Benafsha Soonawalla: MTV VJ and a former Roadies contestant will also be featuring in the show.
Priyank Sharma: Alright girls, hold your breath! Heartthrob Priyank Sharma is also a contestant on the show this year. Sharma has earlier been part of Roadies Rising and Splitsvilla 1o. Did we just hear you scream with excitement?
Zubair Khan: Zubair Khan is reportedly distant relative of the underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim. Zubair is the son in law of Haseena Parkar who is Dawood’s sister.
Shivani Durgah: Self-styled god woman Shivani Durgah is also locked inside the house right now. We again hope she does not follow path of Swami Om.
Sapna Choudhary: Famous Haryana folk singer Sapna Choudhary is another participant who is set to rock you with her moves this year.
Jyoti Kumari: Jyoti is a commoner hailing from the city of Bihar. She is reportedly daughter of an office clerk. Well, quite an achievement for her to have made to the show.
Puneesh Sharma: Sharma is owner of Playboy Club in Gurugram. The party animal is a commoner, but considers himself no less than a celeb. We love your confidence, boy!
Bandgi Kalra: The self-proclaimed beauty-with-brains, is an engineer by profession. She surely will be an eye candy this season.
Arshi Khan: Remember the model who grabbed the headlines for stripping for team India? Yeah, she is another contestant on the show this year so we can expect the temperatures to go up.
