Lucknow: After the Muzaffarpur sex scandal case, strict orders was given through a letter issued by Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath three days ago in which he clearly mentioned, “All the district officers should under do an observation in the nearby shelter homes and make sure that the girls and women living there should not have any problem.”
He also stated: “The cleanliness of the shelter homes should be the first priority and the girls there should be provided with all the facilities. There will be strict proceedings done against officers on showing lethargic approach towards the given orders.”
Even after the strict warning given by the Chief Minister, at least 24 girls have now been rescued from a shelter home where similar illegal sexual assassination of minor girls took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria.
The managers of the shelter home Girija Tripathi along with her husband were detained by the police followed by an investigation by CBI.
The matter came into light after a girl from the shelter home escaped and went to a nearby police station and informed that all the minors were treated as mere servants.
Slamming the incident, Yogi Adityanath immediately summoned Cabinet Minister in the Government of Uttar Pradesh Rita Bahuguna Joshi, DM of Deoria Sujit Kumar and other ministers in charge in Deoria and condemned the act by giving orders to remove Sujit Kumar from his post along with suspension of former DPO of Deoria Neeraj Kumar and current DPO Abhishek Pandey.
