Islamabad: At least four suicide bombers along with one civilian have been killed today after terrorists attacked on Peshawar’s Christian Colony.
According to Pakistan security forces, all the four suicide bombers were killed and the clearance operation is going on.
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Asim Bajwa confirmed that firing reportedly begun at around 6 am, when the terrorists attacked the colony.
The Dawn News reported that, all the gunmen were wearing suicide jackets.
The sources further added, two of the attackers blow up their suicide jackets, and the other two were killed by security forces.
Interestingly, his colony is near the Pakistan- Afghan border.
The city suffered its worst terror attack in December 2014 when Taliban gunmen killed more than 150 people, at an army-run school in which mostly children’s were left no more.
