After making sure that techies come home through its IT City project in Lucknow, HCL is ready to provide jobs to home-grown professionals alongside freshers with a mega recruitment drive in Lucknow.
Initial signs are that HCL would recruit 800 technical and non technical hands during its three-day drive beginning August 4.
When implemented, it will take HCL’s manpower strength on the Lucknow campus to 2,300.
Company is expecting more than 5,000 aspirants, majority of them from Lucknow and adjoining areas at the time of drive.
Coming straight after TCS’s decision to shift its Lucknow operations, this move would give relief to thousands of job-seekers who have passed out from infotech institutions of Lucknow and adjacent areas.
According to company officials, UP is a very important centre for HCL and they are committed to building a world class IT city in Lucknow.
