India has shown their dominating side in the second ODI against West Indies by a massive 105 run victory. Men in blue would like to win the third ODI against West Indies and continue their winning streak.
Keeping in mind the ongoing controversies regarding departure of Anil Kumble, Indian Skipper Virat Kohli is eager to prove himself and clinch the current ODI series.
Indian batsmen are looking in good touch as Ajinkya Rahane scored his third international century in the second ODI against West Indies. While Kohli too was looking in good touch as he played some lofted shots across the ground during the death overs in second ODI.
Earlier, in the innings Shikhar Dhawan too scored a fluent half century. While the batting form of veterans like Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni is under the scanner as they are continuously under performing in lower middle order.
All rounders like Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav are adding more wings to the current team with their performance in the death overs. Jadhav has earlier played a crucial role in breaking partnerships during Champions Trophy 2017. Pandya too proved his utility to the team by bowling short bouncers and providing breakthroughs.
Indian pace bowling attack will be led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar along with Umesh Yadav. The spin attack will be led by Ravi Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav.
West Indies have included two new fresh faces for the next three ODIs and they are — Kyle Hope and Sunil Ambris. They both have performed brilliantly in the domestic season. With this new inclusion in the squad West Indies will be hoping for a change in their luck for the remaining ODIs. Their skipper Jason Holder has bowled economically but failed to prove himself with the bat.
