New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday, stepped a notch above to take on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he said that Congress and BJP know the secrets of each other and hence they can only engage into a verbal spat.
Accusing PM Modi of not taking action against the Gandhi family, Kejriwal tweets, “Sources- Gandhi family has some secrets of Modi ji. That’s why Modi ji will never be able to act against any member of Gandhi family.”

Earlier at a rally organized by the Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday, Kejriwal said, “Together, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress let corruption thrive. Modiji said he will send the ‘son-in-law’ to jail, he said that this was a government of scams. He said that I have a 56-inch chest so I can send them to jail. In two years of their government, not a single person has been sent to jail.”
Speaking on the AgustaWestland Scam Kejriwal asked, “The Italian court order has names of Sonia Gandhi, Ahmed Patel, officials and Congress people. It has been days since the order, but Modiji has not gathered the courage to arrest Sonia Gandhi and probe the matter. Why is he so scared of Soniaji?”
He added, “In 10 years, UPA (United Progressive Alliance) kept a number of Modiji’s secret scams hidden. Modiji knows that if he gets Sonia Gandhi or Robert Vadra arrested, his secrets will also be made public.”
BJP strongly criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for blatantly indulging in politics of ‘Spit and Run’. BJP alleged that Kejriwal has failed to deliver on the promises made to the people.
Condemning Delhi CM, BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh said, “We must not forget that he promised to send Sheila Dikshit and Mr. Salman Khurshid behind bars after bagging the Delhi’s throne. What has happened Mr. Arvind Kejriwal? Have you gone scared against Sheila Dikshit and Salman Khurshid?”
On Saturday, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar also criticized the rally and said, “It is just a publicity stunt. Kejriwal was jumping to get attention. For the last ten days he was not getting media attention and to stay dry without publicity for ten days is a big thing for him.”
