LUCKNOW: With all the bureaucratic ups and down in the recent past and another major reshuffle in the bureaucracy, its time now for 1981-cadre IAS officer Rajiv Kumar to take over as the chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh.
Rumors were doing rounds as Centre had allowed pre-mature repatriation of 1981-cadre IAS officer and there were speculations that he is probably one of the favourites of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi.
The list that was send to centre by Yogi in March for the early release of officers for being placed in UP had name of Rajiv Kumar.
It is believed that Kumar has a good rapport with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and if sources are to be believed, he is close to the PM’s principal secretary Nripendra Mishra as well.
Rajive is known for his sharp working image with no controversies to his name whatsoever is all set to take over present chief secretary Rahul Bhatnagar.
