Young singing sensation Shirley Setia has come up with her new original song “Tu Mil Gaya” and is been loved by millions on youtube. Singer said that she loves to balance her time between live performances and making original songs.
A YouTube star with over 1.6 million subscribers, Shirley was asked the platform she enjoys more digital or live. The Indo-Kiwi singer told media: “I love making new songs, but that is not just about my creativity but also a financial investment. When it comes to sustainability, live gigs help to sustain an artiste to struggle.”
After gaining popularity on a digital platform, Shirley released her first original song “Koi Shor” in 2016. The response it generated gave her the confidence to make more original songs.
“When I went to Jaipur for a college show after the song released, the whole crowd was singing along. Though the song is not on mainstream radio or films, it has reached to the target audience and I think that speaks volumes. Such response boosts me to make more original songs and perform live.”
