Lucknow: In a bid to boost morality and humanity within Uttar Pradesh, our young Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav elected eight particular people who have contributed commendably in different fields to award them with an honor and price money worth Rs. 1 lakh each.
Among the honoraries were a 13-year-old boy from Noida, Harendra Singh, who used to check the weight of the travelers outside Noida City Central Metro station on a pavement and charged money for that. He used that money for submitting his school fees as he is a Class IX student at Sri Krishna Inter College in Noida’s Sector 122.
Apart from the struggling teenager, the CM has also honored and rewarded Mirzapur’s Ramjit Yadav, who defied age barriers and saved the life of 15 kids in a boat accident. He is currently 60-year-old.
Apart from these two, CM Akhilesh also honored typist Krishna Kumar, who has been sitting outside Lucknow GPO with his typewriter for past many years for living. Recently, his typewriter was kicked and broken by a sub-inspector which drew the 65-year-old lots of support from people as well as the government.
The UP CM also rewarded Ballia district’s Rajkkumar, Sanjay, Shivkumar, Pintu Sahni and Sushma Verma besides the above mentioned brave-hearts.
Well, this is really a very commendable move by the UP government where CM Akhilesh has rewarded the people who have the courage and potential of fighting with all the odds of our society.
