Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated UP investors’ summit in Lucknow and said that when change happens, it is visible. More than 5000 people including key business leaders, ministers and policy makers are in Lucknow to participate in the summit.
PM Modi said that the upcoming infrastructures project in the state will take Uttar Pradesh to new heights in the 21st century.
“Keeping in mind the development of Bundelkhand, the government has decided to extend the Uttar Pradesh’s defence corridor to Agra, Allahabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi and Chitrakut,” PM Modi said.
“Can there be a competition between Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra to achieve the target of trillion dollar economy, first? This kind of competition will lead to development and generation of employment. Besides, this kind of healthy race will strengthen competitive cooperative federalism spirit,” PM Modi said.
